33. Sister + Laneway (February 11&12, 2012)
Friday, February 17, 2012

Hell-oh, sick people!

It feels so good to be back updating about a recent and exciting event!

First of all, on February 11th was my sister's birthday, so happy belated birthday big sista, love you with all my heart!

As for February 12th, I wasn't too happy when I found out Laneway mentioned that DSLR's were not allowed. But, when I got there, I saw many DSLR's and was slightly bummed that I didn't bring mine because I could've taken so many pretty concert photos of The Drums and M83. Although, I did feel carefree being empty handed with such a small bag. I was late for Laneway by one act. I met Ayesha and we went together using the Dr.Martens shuttle bus!

I caught Cults, Chairlift, Austra and a little of Girls with lovely Ayesha and Soufi! We danced like crazy and had so much fun zoning in our own worlds. I personally felt Austra was amazing live, I couldn't stop dancing. Afterwhich during Girls I felt a little something so I had to head to the toilet.

I went to find Farah and we caught The Drums together. They were so epic live. It was really an amazing performance, I loved every bit and how everyone went crazy during Let's Go Surfing! I seriously danced like crazy, I'm serious. I enjoyed The Drums the most, honestly.

Chilled out a lot with Farah and her friend, Amirul. We helped Ika and her sister gatecrash the festival. I also helped Farihin and his friends. Anyway, I realised that Toro Y Moi is pretty amazing live! Was disappointed with The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart. But in all, M83 smashed it. They were so rad, I loved their whole setlist and I couldn't keep my eyes off of Jordan Lawlor. He was so sexy, I wanted to just eat him up or have him follow me back to my bed. So hot.

It was a beautiful and chill festival. I loved it and I enjoyed myself. Thanks again to Soufi and Ayesha for getting me the ticket, love you two! <3 Had so much fun with Farah and Ika too! <3

All of these pictures taken with my normal digital camera!

See you strangers.
